A Vibrant Silence

Last year during our summer walks I would often tell my husband, ‘I will go into silence for the duration of our walk’. I was well aware that silence is a practice in many eastern spiritual traditions yet, I had never embraced it before. I did not know what to expect. What I found was amazing. Something magical happened during my silent walks. My mind entered a different state of quietness, and it was so spontaneous and immediate that I could not miss it. Soothing inner peace permeated my whole being and I found myself smiling for no reason. Around … Continue reading A Vibrant Silence

Gentle ways of raising our vibration

Yesterday my husband and I spent some time planning new roses in our garden. They look lovely,  with their many rosebuds. I felt grateful for such a lovely sunny day and I found myself praising the beauty of our new roses. A feeling of inner peace and tranquillity settled around us. We are souls living a human experience, so I hardly think we need to raise our vibration. We are already love, created by love and this we must remember. Raising our vibration is simply allowing our soul to shine through us. Our work is to let go of our … Continue reading Gentle ways of raising our vibration

Travelling Light

“Karma is the complete absence of presence.” ~ Eckhart Tolle Many years ago, I first came across the word Karma being used in a context of well-deserved divine punishment, such as an eye for an eye kind of justice. My inner guidance promptly gave me the red lights, within me there was no recognition of truth.   Knowing about some of my past lives only supported my inner guidance’s response. I came to understand that our unresolved issues, may they be from our current life or from pasts ones, are an energetic baggage that keeps similar experiences happening in our … Continue reading Travelling Light

Dancing with life

When sitting in self-reflection, I look back at my life in awe at the perfection of both the light and the dark times. It is easy to do so in retrospection but, not always so when a storm is raging. Yet, practice makes perfect and so it is that nowadays when the rumbling of a storm approaches, I am already looking for the rainbows for I am aware that life enfolds as a beautiful orchestrated setup for our awakening. The lovely great spiritual teacher Caroline Myss beautifully puts the nature of the divine in words: “Intimate and impersonal – this … Continue reading Dancing with life

Eyes of Love

“Above all else I want to see.” ~ Course in Miracles, Workbook for Students Seeing with the eyes of love, seeing with Christ’s eyes is being awake to the realisation that we are all beautiful souls, all of us, for that is the essence of the soul. No matter how much a soul may be obscured by layer upon layer of density, within us all is the ability to see beyond these layers. That ability resides in our soul and can be reached with an open heart. Nowadays when someone triggers my ‘pain stories’, I rejoice for that is my … Continue reading Eyes of Love

We cannot fall asleep again

This post was inspired by the great spiritual teacher Caroline Myss. Yesterday, as I listened to Caroline’s beautiful message, I saw myself so clearly and with compassion I saw others too. I wanted to dance around the room because her message was so delightfully insightful of the process of awakening, I felt understood. Her message was like a sign on the road saying you are doing just fine. In these never-ending journey of awakening we come to realise there is no way back. Every time we expand our awareness, we turn on a new light that stays on forever. We … Continue reading We cannot fall asleep again

Rest awhile among the trees and the flowers

“In every walk in with nature one receives far more than he seeks.” ~John Muir Many years ago, my husband and I used to jog regularly. At that time, we lived near beautiful wooded areas where the wild life happily flourished. Flowing through these enchanting woods, a river added to the beauty and diversity of plant and animal life. The beauty of nature, the sound of the wind in the trees, the chirruping birds, the squirrels chatter, and the singing of the river, gently transported us to another world where fears and problems disappeared for a while. On snowy days, … Continue reading Rest awhile among the trees and the flowers

Missing you

Life and death are one thread, the same line viewed from different sides. ~ Lao Tzu Eleven years ago, on this day, 8th June, I lost my sweet loving mum. I miss our long philosophical conversations and her caring hands. My sweet mum loved flowers and animals, cooking and laughter. She taught me to read, write, pray, and notice divine guidance in my life. And so much more… Last year on this day while siting in contemplation at the Chalice Well Gardens mum sent me a vision of herself: She was young, no more than 30, and wearing a long … Continue reading Missing you

What we do to One we do to the Whole

We co-create our reality all the time. Together we are that powerful. This world was not created by a few people alone but by us all. Our beliefs, our thoughts, the emotions we entertain, the words we use, what we give attention too and the actions we take, no matter how insignificant they may seem to us, they are sparks of creative energy, our energy. Each spark moves like a wave into the world joining with other spark of similar vibration and together they grow for better or for worse. At any given time, what we see around the world, both … Continue reading What we do to One we do to the Whole

Staying Awake

“Conflict is sleep. Forgiveness awakening.” ~ Course in Miracles We are children of the divine we are the One Life, all creation is part of us. When we enter into conflict, we move away from heart centered consciousness. We close ourselves to divine energy and we create bonds that bind our Soul. Forgiveness is our tool to returning to a heart centered consciousness which raises our vibration and that of the collective. It is a gift we give ourselves and the world. An unforgiving choice only ever adds to the collective energy of conflict that eventually shows up in the … Continue reading Staying Awake
